1) Hingham Holiday Fair
The Hingham Holiday Fair is this Saturday, November 19th, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Hingham High School. There will be over 90 artisans, entrepreneurs, and local businesses who will display their holiday gifts. A portion of the event proceeds are donated each year to the Dana-Farber Cancer Research Center through the Pan-Mass Challenge. Admission to this is event is $2.

2) Glastonbury Abbey’s Arts and Crafts Fair
The Glastonbury Abbey’s Arts and Crafts Fair is on the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey on Saturday, November 19th, starting at 9:00 am and running until 3:00 pm. This is the second holiday fair featuring paintings, sculptures, hand-carved birds, gourd art, pottery, photography, jewelry and hand knits just in time for the holidays. The fair is being held at the Morcone Conference Center and admission is free.

3) America’s Hometown Thanksgiving
America’s Hometown Thanksgiving is being held in Plymouth of course! Starting on November 18th through November 20th, this 3 day event will feature music, food and a fabulous Thanksgiving parade. On Friday night there will be an illumination ceremony and a Veterans Memorial Concert at Memorial Hall. Saturday, opening ceremonies will kick off at DCR Pilgrim Memorial Park at 10:30 a.m. and the Thanksgiving Parade will progress down Main Street from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Other activities include a food festival, crafter’s village, live entertainment, an outdoor living history village, farmers market, food vendors, drum corps concert and more.

4) Atlantic Symphony Orchestra
The Atlantic Symphony Orchestra’s Take a Bow! Gala is the ASO’s 20th Anniversary Party celebrating their two decades of success happening at the Hatherly Country Club, 663 Hatherly Road in Scituate. This event will provide financial support through a seated dinner, music, memories and silent and live auctions. Tickets are $125 and the event is on Saturday, November 19th, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

5) Christmas Festival of Lights
The Christmas Festival of Lights opens on Friday, November 18th at Edaville, 5 Pine Street in Carver from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. This is an ongoing seasonal event that runs through the 1st of January and features over 17 million lights illuminating the entire park area. There are also over 90 attractions to enjoy for the whole family. Admission is $34 and includes access to Christmas Festival of Lights, Edaville Proper, Thomas Land and over 90 rides & attractions.
