1) Pumpkins AGLOW at Edaville
On Friday, October 28th, starting at 1:00 pm Edaville Railroad, at 5 Pine Street in Carver is starting the the child friendly event called “Pumpkins Aglow.” This popular event involves an endless array of carved pumpkins amidst over 90 rides and attractions. The new features this year include a hay bale maze, hot apple cider and delicious donuts. They encourage all children to arrive in full costume and bring your own trick or treat bag. The Pumpkins Aglow runs until 8:00 pm and tickets for admission are $37 or less, depending on your age.
2) Hingham Recreation Halloween Party
The annual Hingham Recreation Halloween Party is on Friday, October 28th starting at 4:30 pm and going until 7:30 pm at the South Shore Country Club, 274 South Street, in Hingham. Preschoolers are scheduled from 4:30 pm until 5:45 pm, ad children over the preschool age are scheduled starting at 6:30 pm. All Hingham residents are invited to this fun, free event.

3) St John’s Not So Spooky Haunted House
On Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th starting at 5:00 pm, St. John’s Church, at 172 Main Street in Hingham is holding their annual not-so-scary Haunted House. The goal is for kids to love their first haunted house experience. This is geared for children under the age of 12 and costs is $5 per person and
$20 per family. This is a perfect outing for preschool and elementary age kids and includes refreshments and activities in the lower church hall afterwards. Please note that even families unable to pay are welcome.

4) Tales of the Supernatural
Brave your way to the Norwell Public Library, 64 South Street in Norwell to their “Halloween Dare to Be Scared Spooky Tales of the Supernatural” on Sunday, October 30th at 3:00 pm. There will be select stories by Robert D. San Souci read in the creepy, chilling voice of the Norwell Youth Services Librarian, Nancy Perry. Bring along a flashlight and wear your costume is you dare! Apple cider and treats will be on hand at this free event.

5) Costume Party at Paragon Carousel
This coming Sunday, October 30th, the Paragon Carousel invites one and all to their costume event at 205 Nantasket Avenue in Hull starting at 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm. Admission is free and Carousel rides are $3 per person.
