5 Things to do in Hingham This Weekend

Brought to you by Hingham Realtor Alice Smith

Please see the time and date summary at the end of the listings.

1) Get Outside!

It is Patriots Day weekend, and the start of Hingham public school vacation week. Sunday is supposed to be a stellar weather day so plan on taking some time to explore all of the beautiful trails we have in the town of Hingham. It is so early in the season so the brush has not yet leafed out, making trails clear and relatively insect free (always protect yourselves from ticks, year round). Try World’s End, Wompatuck, or More Brewers. There are many lesser known places to explore too. Cushing Woods is a rich habitat for ducks and birds, and the nearby Eel River Woods offers a short and diverse walk.

2) Healthy Living Expo in Plymouth

The 11th Annual Healthy Living Magazine Expo will be held on Sunday, April 17th from 10-6 pm at the 1620 Hotel, formally known as the Radisson Plymouth Harbor, 180 Water Street, Plymouth . Admission is free and includes a wide variety of presentations and vendors related to wellness.

3) Come Listen to Some Mandolin Music

He has commissioned pieces from Clarice Assad, John Goodin, Francine Trester, and Frank Wallace and won at the national performance competition of the Classical Mandolin Society of America (CMSA).
